Data are expressed as estimates±standard errors of means and standard deviations for continuous variables and as those of percentages for categorical variables. P values were calculated by design-based Wilcoxon rank-sum test for complex sample survey data for continuous variables, and by Pearson chi square test with Rao-Scott adjustment for categorical variables. *Occupation was classified as group A (managers, professionals, and related workers; clerks; service and sales workers; housewives, students, and the unemployed) and group B (skilled agricultural, forestry, and fishery workers; craft, equipment, and machine operating and assembling workers; elementary workers). Radiographic osteoarthritis was defined as Kellgren-Lawrence Grading Scale ≥2. Symptomatic osteoarthritis was defined as having both radiographic osteoarthritis and pain of the joint. §Knee pain scores was measured as numerical rating scale score from 0 (no pain) to 10 (the worst pain).
